The STEMNova Foundation continues to champion the development of the next generation of scientists, innovators, and STEM professionals through meaningful educational and career-focused initiatives. On 9 September 2026, the Foundation participated in the University and Career Readiness Series, an engaging session focused on “Breaking Barriers and Building Futures: Careers and STEM Opportunities Girls Can Excel in STEM Too.” The programme provided an opportunity for students and young people to learn more about university pathways, career opportunities, and the diverse possibilities available within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The session featured Dr. Dorcas Attuabea Addo, Founder of STEMNova Foundation and Lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), as the Guest Speaker. She shared insights and encouragement aimed at helping young people understand the importance of preparation, purposeful career planning, and making informed educational choices. The programme also featured Dr. Bernice Yram Danu, Lecturer in Solid State Physics and Materials Science, who hosted the session. Together, the speakers highlighted the importance of mentorship, confidence, and access to information in helping young people navigate their academic and professional journeys.
