Dr. Dorcas Attuabea Addo is a mathematician, quantum science researcher, educator, and the Founder and Executive Lead of STEMNova Foundation. She is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics Education at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, where her work bridges mathematics, quantum science, and STEM education to address real-world challenges. Her research spans quantum algorithms, mathematical physics, computational mathematics, public health, climate, and technology-enhanced learning, reflecting her commitment to using science for societal impact. She is also a core member of the African Quantum Consortium and has contributed to several continental initiatives promoting quantum science and scientific collaboration across Africa. Driven by a passion for nurturing the next generation of innovators, Dr. Addo established STEMNova Foundation to discover STEM talent, develop scientific leadership, expand research opportunities, and empower women and underserved communities. Through mentorship, education, and strategic partnerships, she envisions STEMNova as a catalyst for building a globally connected community of African scientists, educators, and innovators who will shape the continent’s future through excellence in STEM
